1. About these terms
These Terms of Sale ("Terms") govern your order of a Galvbike from Ampify Limited ("Ampify", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in New Zealand (NZBN 9429050880294). By placing an order through the Galvbike website at galvbike.com, you agree to these Terms.
These Terms apply alongside the Privacy Policy and the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under those Acts.
2. The order
The retail price of the Galvbike is NZD $7,990 inclusive of GST. When you place an order through the website, you commit to purchase a Galvbike at this price, subject to these Terms.
After you place an order, we'll respond with a tax invoice for the full amount by email. Payment of that invoice secures your Galvbike from current stock (delivery August 2026) or — if current stock is exhausted — a place in our next production run.
3. Price changes
The retail price shown on the website is the price you'll be invoiced. If, between order and dispatch, we need to vary the price for any reason (for example, materially changed shipping or component costs), we will give you written notice before charging the new amount. If you don't want to proceed at the revised price, you may cancel your order.
4. Delivery
Galvbikes from current stock are scheduled for delivery August 2026. If current stock is exhausted, your order is held against our next production run (scheduled for Q4 2026). Delivery windows shown on the website are indicative and not guaranteed. We will keep you informed of your status and any material change to your expected delivery window.
We ship within New Zealand. International shipping is not available at this time.
5. Risk and ownership
Risk and title in the Galvbike pass to you on delivery to the address you provided at checkout. You must inspect the bike on delivery and notify us within 7 days of any damage in transit or visible defect.
6. Consumer guarantees
Where you purchase a Galvbike as a consumer (and not for the purposes of a business), the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 gives you guarantees that cannot be excluded. These include guarantees that the bike will be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and match its description.
If a Galvbike fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you are entitled to the remedies set out in that Act. Contact us at info@galvbike.com to start a claim.
7. Warranty
Galvbike is supplied with a 3 year manufacturer warranty. Full warranty terms will be provided in writing during the order process and will be in addition to your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
8. Payment
Payment is processed against the invoice we email after you place an order. We do not store payment credentials on this website. Any payment credentials used to settle our invoice are handled directly between you and your payment provider.
9. Privacy
We collect and use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The Terms that apply to your order are those in force at the time you placed it. We will not change these Terms in a way that disadvantages orders already placed.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of New Zealand.
