Built only for the farm
Most electric bikes you can buy here are commuters or trail bikes with a rack bolted on. Galvbike is the other way around. Every decision on it was made for farm work first: the frame is hot-dip galvanised so the daily wash-down and the effluent do not eat it, the motor is sealed and IP67 rated, and it is full step-through so nobody swings a leg over a loaded rack forty times a shift.
It is not trying to be a road bike. It is a farm bike, and that focus is the whole point.
It carries, and it keeps going
A 200 kg payload including rider means it earns its keep, not just gets you around. The rear deck and footwell take real farm loads, and up to 80 km of range covers most farms for days between charges. When it needs power, three to four hours off a normal 10 amp socket puts it back to full. No jerry cans, no trips to the pump.
Almost nothing to service
There is no chain, no clutch, no gearbox and no engine oil, so the petrol farm bike service list simply does not apply. The whole list is brakes, tyres and occasional grease in the swingarm nipples. Who it is not for
Being straight about it: if your day is mostly very long rides across big hill country with no chance to charge, or you mainly need to tow and haul heavy loads, a larger machine may suit you better. For the everyday work of a dairy or rolling farm, though, nothing else built for the job comes close on running cost and reliability.
